"USS Halloween Horror Nights"
Hello everyone! Finally gonna blog about something a little more interesting! hehehe. I hope you guys had a great Halloween cause I sure did even though it got a little too scary for me at times.
Thanks to Gushcloud, I got my USS Halloween Horror Nights tickets at SGD50 including the Universal Express pass. Thank God cause I really hate waiting in line for my turn. I can get really impatient and pretty cranky if I had to wait. hahaha
Anyway, we went together as a family, both Gushcloud employees and bloggers. I think it was a great way for us to get to know each other more and we really got closer at the end of the day. Literally one big family. This blog post is just gonna be a compilation of pictures taken that night. I don't think much description is needed since I'm certain that you guys wanna "watch" how it went more then read right? So here it goes :)
My hero for the night. Fai really took good care of me even though I could get pretty annoying- getting scared at almost anything around. hahaha.
Finally met up with my GCtroopers after so long!!! I'd missed out on our ice skating session and Fide Fashion Week so it was great seeing them again! :)
Xavier, what would we do without you?
Ridhwan, he made every guy present that night feel like a man.
HAHAHA. Super hilarious having him around.
Joanna, Chloe and JianHao! <3
Saw this cart of devil's horns headband and just had to get one. Before I could pull out my wallet, Fai had already paid for it. So sweet <3 <3 <3
Camwhoring before we enter USS. hehe. With Xavier and Mae!!^^
Mae and Sean wearing couple tees, so cute!!! hahaha
And Tyler!!! <3 Whenever I take a picture with him using my camera, it always gets over exposed cause Tyler's so fair! HAHA
Me still looking fine and happy walking into the scare zones. At the end of the night, it was an entirely different story hahaha. Throw me on any roller coasters and I'll gladly ride it. But bring me near any haunted house and I'll get really freaked out. I've always hated haunted houses but for some reason, I love the thrill so I keep coming back for more. Mix feelings, yeah I know I'm weird. But oh wells its fun to suffer for a little and laugh at myself after. HAHA
We visited "Adrift" first. Personally, I think that it was the scariest haunted house at USS this year. Its basically about an old abandoned haunted ship, so you can expect lots of wandering angry souls and dead gruesome bodies around.
The set up was AMAZING. I really felt like I was on a ship or some sorta hotel. One part of the trail really freaked me out the most, when we had to walk through some ballroom filled with LOTS of souls walking around. I had my head down the whole time while Fai lead me the way. hehehehe
Candid shot of me acting like a ghost
Next, we walked through the Vampire scare zone which I was pretty excited about initially. I am certain that many teenage girls like myself have always dreamt about becoming a vampire or at least having a vampire boyfriend. Er-hem.. One of the ways in which Fai caught my attention-2 years ago when we were dating-was because he told me he was a vampire. HAHA To some extend, I didn't know why, I'd believed him. HAHAHA
The Vampire scare zone wasn't anything I'd expected. I thought we would be seeing the modern day sorta vampires, you know, those in biker jackets and stuff. But no... they were dressed mostly in that Victorian era sorta clothing which already gives me the chills on their own. The scare actors were freaking awesome. I had this one actress chasing me around, I freaked out and ran around like mad. Even Fai couldn't keep up. HAHA.
Photos credit to Xavier!
Fai holding me the entire time. HAHA... Until I started running away on my own.
I absolutely LOVE the make up! Tried to replicate it the next day at Zouk, I kinda made it I guess? hahaha. Oh yes, proud to say that the very next morning, I got to meet the Vampires' make up artist!! So much coincidence, such a small small world.
After what seemed to be forever (since I was so scared), we were finally out of the Vampires scare zone. On to the next one!! Thank you to my lovely Fai for taking care of me. Just look at how sweaty I look already.
I don't know what got into me but my courage level just dropped all the way down to zero that night. After the first haunted house and just two scare zones, I was certain that I didn't wanna enter the next haunted house anymore. It was the "Songs Of Death" trail, featuring the Chinese opera singer.
The moment we entered the trail, I freaked out at the sight of the opera singer dancing on stage. And within a minute, I left. HAHA. I told Fai to go on without me and was left outside waiting for everyone. HAHAHA. Yeah I felt like a loser, but theres just no way I am gonna visit an Asian ghost trail. I mean things like these exist in our real world, literally. I just don't wanna get paranoid the next Hungry Ghost Festival. HAHA.
One of my favorite photos of Fai and I taken by Xavier <3 (white sneaker FTW)
We visited the Forbidden Forest and the last haunted house. By this time, I was literally shaking and everyone was constantly asking me if I'm okay. HAHA. Thank you Fai and Mae for taking care of me. I'm sorry I don't have anymore pictures of the trail from here on, I was too scared to even walk on my own. The Forbidden Forest was insanely scary... especially the part where they hung two girls on the tree with two what seems to be, "Pontianaks" lingering around. I was so freaked out to the point that one of the ghost apologized for scaring me. HAHAHA

After we were done with the haunted houses, the fun bit came ;)
I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS!!! If only Galactica was open, I would have gone on it over and over again. But it wasn't open so we had to settle for the Mummy ride. This time, I had to take care of Fai. He HATES roller coasters but I LOVE it. So now he was the scared one instead. And I guess it was a very memorable night for us. We kinda helped each other out with our fears :)
The night ended well with us chomping away on our Turkey legs! Yum yums! Pretty pricey but really worth it!
Ending this post with a picture of ALL of us present that day. Note: this is only about 1/4 of the entire GC family. Wish that everyone could be present one day, imagine how huge the picture would be!
Thank you Gushcloud for the wonderful opportunity and USS for having us! <3
If you're contemplating on whether to head down or not, just go ahead! I know many people have probably said that the Halloween Horror Nights was better last year and all, but it doesn't matter! Its still really enjoyable and its a great way to bond with your friends and family.
Last day's on 3rd Nov! Don't miss out on the fun ;)

Halloween at Zouk!
So we got scared the night before, but the next night, we got to be in the shoes of the scare actors. hehe
Finally got to party after really long. It was very much needed since I've been so stressed lately with filming and school. The best thing about partying yesterday night was that I didn't have to care about how I look at all!!!! Whooo-hooooo!
Usually, I would bring my make up essentials in my party bag, but yesterday, it was close to empty! Simply because I didn't need to look pretty yesterday. I had to look SCARY! I went to Zouk as a vampire, yes with the fangs and fake blood and all. It was my first time dressing up for Halloween so it was a really good experience. I wish I had colored contact lenses though.. That would have made my look even scarier. hehehehe
I wanted to film down the process of me getting dressed but we were rushing for time so I couldn't get it done :( If you're wondering how I did my Vampire make up, feel free to comment or email me, if I get enough requests, I might just do a tutorial. hehehe
Fai went as some Demon Wizard. I really wanted to do his make up but he didn't want to so he got himself a mask :( I couldn't tell if he was happy or tired or angry the whole night cause of the mask. HAHAHA
Laraine joined us in her Pocahontas costume after a while and she looked so pretty!!
She even baked us cupcakes. HAHA.
They were suppose to be Halloween inspired but failed of course.
Hehehehe, pretty proud of my look. I couldn't find any nice Vampire costumes so I settled for this black maxi dress from H&M :)
My insta post that really scared a few of my followers. hehehe. The fangs was extremely uncomfortable so I was constantly taking them off.
Fooling around outside. hehehe
And that's it guys!! Happy Halloween!
Finally got to be a vampire for once in my life. People actually couldn't recognize me at all! I'd bumped into Francesca outside Zouk but she didn't even know it was me at all until like 5 seconds later.
Thanks for reading everyone! I had a great weekend, now it's back to school :(
Till next time :)
xoxo
